Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Fatal Bicycle Crash on Mission Boulevard

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (June 11, 2020) – Authorities continue to search for a hit-and-run driver involved in a bicycle crash on Mission Boulevard, Thursday evening.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened at about 10:43 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a sedan hit a bicycle along the 9400 block of Mission Boulevard.
 
Emergency responders rushed the bicyclist to a hospital with major injuries. Unfortunately, the bicyclist succumbed to his injuries and died five days later on Tuesday, June 16. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim.
 
As per reports, the vehicle that hit the bicyclist is a white 2012-2018 Ford Focus sedan with a missing passenger-side mirror. Anyone with additional information can call Deputy Nancarrow at (941) 955-2600. Authorities will release more details once they become available.
