6 Injured in Car Accident on Central Avenue at Streeter Avenue [RIVERSIDE, CA]

Riverside Multi-Vehicle Crash Injures 6 People

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (June 17, 2020) – A total of six people sustained injuries in a car accident on Central Avenue at Streeter Avenue in Riverside Sunday night.
 
The accident took place at about 10:12 p.m. according to Riverside fire officials. It involved three vehicles.
 
Based on a preliminary investigation, one of the vehicles crashed through a fence and then continued on the lawn of a nearby home where it rested.
 
Firefighters extricated a woman trapped inside one of the vehicles. She sustained critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
 
Emergency crews also took a family of four to the hospital with minor injuries. A 35-year-old man, meanwhile, had moderate injures.
 
As of this time, the cause of the crash is unknown. Further investigation is underway.
