2 Injured in Crash Involving Amazon Truck on East Palm Canyon Drive [Palm Springs, CA]

Two Hospitalized after Amazon Truck Crash on East Palm Canyon Drive

 
PALM SPRINGS, CA (June 16, 2020) – At least two people sustained injuries in a crash on East Palm Canyon Drive, Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the Palm Springs Fire Department, the incident happened at about 2:15 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, an Amazon truck and a white sedan collided near Escoba Drive.
 
The Amazon truck sustained damage to its driver-side door and front bumper, while the sedan has gone off the right side of East Palm Canyon down a short embankment.
 
Emergency crews transported two people to an area hospital with minor injuries.
 
Responding officers temporarily shut down affected areas for almost two hours.
 
The Palm Springs Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
