Pickup Truck Crashes on 505 Freeway at Gaddino Road Off-Ramp Killing Two
WINTERS, CA (June 15, 2020) – Two people were killed in a crash Monday afternoon in a rural Yolo County, the CHP said.
The fatal crash happened around 2:08 p.m. on northbound 505 Freeway at the Gaddino Road off-ramp, just south of Putah Creek Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a red Ford F-150 pickup truck went through a fence for unknown reasons.
Arriving units found the vehicle 40 feet off the roadway and had major front-end damage. They provided life-saving measures on two patients, but both died at the scene.
The coroner’s office did not release the names of the victims pending positive identification and family notification.
CHP officials are still investigating the crash to determine the exact cause and factors involved.
