Phucdai Nguyen Killed in Motorcycle Crash on North Euclid Street [SANTA ANA, CA]

Rider Dies after Crashing into Truck on North Euclid Street near Hazard Avenue

 
SANTA ANA, CA (June 13, 2020) – A man who died in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening in Santa Ana has been identified as 27-year-old Phucdai Nguyen of Westwinster.
 
The fatal crash happened around 8:50 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Euclid Street near Hazard Avenue.
 
CHP officials said Nguyen was riding his motorcycle southbound on Euclid Street. For unknown reasons, he crashed into a truck that was pulling onto the street from a driveway.
 
The Orange County Fire Authority paramedics pronounced Nguyen dead at the scene.
 
The truck driver stayed on scene and cooperated with the authorities.
 
Police said alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash, but speed may have played a role.
 
An investigation into the accident is ongoing. Authorities urged witnesses to call Investigator authorities at 714-245-8216.
