Fatality Reported after Las Vegas Truck Accident on Highway 95 near Highway 160
INDIAN SPRINGS, NV (June 15, 2020) — One person suffered fatal injuries in a truck accident on Highway 95 near Indian Springs on Wednesday, June 10.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. on Highway 95 near Highway 160.
NHP said a Ford F-150 pickup truck moved northbound on Highway 95. A Honda Pilot occupied by two men was southbound on Highway 95.
According to NHP, the truck crossed the centerline and partially entered into the southbound travel lane. Then it struck the left front of the Honda. The male passenger or the Honda died at the scene.
Medics airlifted the drivers of the Honda and the Ford to University Medical Center in critical condition. NHP said impairment did not play a role in the incident.
Officials closed Highway 95 between Indian Springs and Highway 160 due to debris. It reopened around 9:30 a.m.
