Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on North Euclid Street near Hazard Avenue [SANTA ANA, CA]

Fatal Motorcycle Crash on North Euclid Street in Santa Ana

 
SANTA ANA, CA (June 13, 2020) – A man died in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening in Santa Ana, police said.
 
The crash happened around 8:50 p.m. in the of 1200 block of North Euclid Street near Hazard Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was riding his motorcycle southbound on North Euclid Street. For unknown reasons, he crashed into a truck that was pulling onto a street from a driveway.
 
Orange County Fire Authority personnel responded and attempted saving the rider, but he died at the scene.
 
The name of the deceased was not immediately available pending notification of next of kin.
 
The truck driver remained on scene and cooperated with the authorities.
 
CHP officials did not rule out alcohol as a factor but they believe speed contributed to the crash.
