Juan Aguilar-Hernandez Arrested in Fatal DUI Crash on Firetower Road [CONROE, TX]

15-Year-Old Boy Dies in DUI Crash at Firetower Road and McAllister Road

 
CONROE, TX (June 7, 2020) – A man was arrested following a fatal DUI crash Sunday evening in east Montgomery County.
 
The crash happened just after 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Firetower Road and McAllister Road.
 
According to police, a Ford pickup truck was traveling southbound on Firetower Road when it entered a curve at McAllister Road. It then lost control, veered into the northbound lane, went through a fence and slammed into a tree.
 
As a result, a 15-year-old male passenger in the car suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. His name was not immediately available.
 
A female passenger sustained minor injuries.
 
The victim’s father, 37-year-old Juan Carlos Aguilar-Hernandez of Porter, was the one driving the car and was unharmed. Paramedics took him to HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe where his blood was drawn as part of the investigation.
 
Police determined that Aguilar-Hernandez was driving under the influence of alcohol. They booked him at the Montgomery County Jail for DUI and a second-degree felony, with no bond set, according to jail records.
 
The incident remains under investigation.
