SANTA ANA, CA (June 9, 2020) – A man sustained two broken legs in a hit-and-run accident on Edinger Avenue and Bristol Street on Sunday, June 8.
 
Around 11:42 p.m., units arrived on scene and found a male adult down in the roadway suffering from two broken legs after a vehicle struck him while crossing the intersection.
 
Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on the scene before they rushed him to an area hospital with minor injuries.
 
Officers discovered that the pedestrian was crossing Bristol Street in a crosswalk when a vehicle moving southbound hit him.
 
The driver of the vehicle left the area without checking the pedestrian.
 
Officers discovered a piece of the suspect’s car in the intersection. Officers are looking at surveillance footage from nearby businesses to help find the suspect.
