Passenger Killed after Car Crashed into Pole near Wilson Avenue in El Cajon
EL CAJON, CA (June 8, 2020) – A passenger died after a car crashed into a pole near Wilson Avenue in El Cajon on Sunday, June 7.
The driver was reportedly speeding westbound on Chase Avenue when the car slammed into a pole near Wilson Avenue. Police and firefighters responded at about 6:45 a.m. to the crash scene.
First responders pronounced the male passenger dead at the scene, the El Cajon Police Department said.
Medics extracted the driver from the car. They treated the driver at the scene and then rushed him to a local hospital, police said. The driver’s condition was not immediately available.
