10 Freeway Crash Results in Injuries, Blocks Traffic

 
PHOENIX, AZ (June 9, 2020) — At least one person sustained injuries in a car crash on 10 Freeway near the 7th Avenue exit Sunday morning.
 
Based on reports from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash caused one of the cars to overturn. The vehicle ended up on its roof, blocking lanes of the freeway, officials said.
 
Minor injuries were reported following the crash. However, there was no information available as to whether any patient required hospitalization. There were also no names released by the authorities at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
 
Meantime, the crash prompted the closure of 10 Freeway near the 7th Avenue exit except for one right lane. All lanes reopened following the initial investigation and clean-up of the crash scene.
