Person Dead, Two Others Injured in Spanish Springs Car Crash
SPANISH SPRINGS, NV (June 9, 2020) — A person died in a fatal rollover accident on Pyramid Highway on Sunday night near Spanish Springs.
Reports from the Nevada Highway Patrol indicated that the crash involved two vehicles. It took place near Egyptian Drive at about 10:00 p.m.
Although the circumstances were unclear at this time, the NHP said speed may have been a factor in the crash. They are also looking into whether impairment played a role.
Meantime, there are three people sent to the hospital for treatment. One of them died from their injuries. Information on the status of the other two patients was not immediately available.
The officials had Pyramid Highway closed while they processed the scene. Clean-up crews also cleared the road from the wrecked vehicles and debris. The roadway reopened at about 2:00 A.M., Monday.
