According to the Stockton Police Department, the 54-year-old man rode his bike on El Dorado Street near West 8th Street. Then a vehicle struck him.
The driver left the scene and fled, police stated.
Police stated that the cyclist died after they transported him to a local hospital. His identity was not yet available.
