5 Injured in DUI Accident on 7th Street at Camelback Road [Phoenix, AZ]

5 Hurt in Phoenix Car Crash on 7th Street, DUI Suspected

 
PHOENIX, AZ (June 09, 2020) — Five people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on 7th Street at Camelback Road Sunday morning.
 
According to the Phoenix police, the incident happened at about 5:30 a.m. It involved a Honda and a Chevy truck.
 
The Chevy was eastbound on Camelback Road. The Honda, meantime, ran a red light while northbound on 7th Street and the two vehicles collided.
 
All three occupants of the Honda were taken to a hospital for treatment. Two of them sustained serious injuries, while the third occupant was in critical condition.
 
Meantime, the two people in the Chevy sustained minor injuries.
 
The investigators said the Honda driver showed signs of impairment. However, the police are conducting further investigation.
