Allami Hussain Arrested, 2 Injured in DUI Crash on Stetson Drive [Scottsdale, AZ]

Allami Hussain Arrested After Car Crash Into Scottsdale Bar, Injuring 2 People

 
SCOTTDALE, AZ (June 8, 2020) — The Scottsdale police arrested a 52-year-old driver after a suspected DUI crash on East Stetson Drive Thursday night.
 
According to an initial investigation, 52-year-old Allami Hussain was driving the vehicle that crashed into DJ’s Bar and Grill at around 7:30 p.m. In the process, the vehicle struck two pedestrians who were walking along the patio of the restaurant.
 
One of the pedestrians was in critical condition, while the other was in serious condition. Both were transported to the hospital for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, Hussain initially left the scene on foot. However, the police later found him behind the building. They took him into custody on suspicion of DUI and failing to remain at the scene of a collision with injuries.
 
The collision remains under investigation.
