Early Morning 2-Vehicle Crash on Nuevo Road at Pico Avenue Turns Deadly

NUEVO, CA (June 6, 2020) – One person died and two others were injured following a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in the unincorporated Nuevo area.

The crash happened around 12:25 a.m. on Nuevo Road at Pico Avenue

According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons, one of them overturned with two people inside.

Emergency personnel pronounced one person dead at the scene. They transported two other patients to a hospital, one was seriously injured and the other with moderate injuries.

Authorities did not release the identity of the deceased pending next of kin notification.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
