Collision on Highway 60 Involving Big Rig Kills Driver in Curry County

 
CURRY COUNTY, NM (June 4, 2020) — One person was killed and another one was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 60 Tuesday morning.
 
According to the Curry County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened in the Grier area at about 9:20 a.m. It involved a pickup truck and a big rig.
 
Reports indicated that the pickup truck crossed into the opposite lane and then crashed into the big rig.
 
The driver of the pickup truck died at the scene. The big rig driver sustained injuries. The names of both drivers were not immediately available.
 
Meantime the officials are investigating the cause and circumstances surrounding the collision.
