Minor Injuries Sustained in Big Rig Crash on 10 Freeway in Thousand Palms

 
THOUSAND PALMS, CA (June 3, 2020) – Minor injuries were reported following a big rig crash on 10 Freeway, Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 7:12 AM. For reasons still unknown, a big rig and a vehicle collided east of Bob Hope Drive.
 
The impact of the crash caused 35 to 40 gallons of diesel to spill near the center divider.
 
Emergency crews transported a motorist to a hospital with minor injuries. Updates on the victim’s current condition remain undisclosed.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
