Four Killed, One Injured after Pickup Truck Crash on Hesperia Road

 
HESPERIA, CA (June 3, 2020) — Four people died and a fifth person suffered critical injuries in a pickup truck crash on Hesperia Road on Monday, June 1.
 
The incident occurred around 11:12 p.m. in the area of Hesperia Road and Lemon Street. First responders found a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup truck and a blue sedan with major damage at the crash site. They also discovered one person trapped in a vehicle.
 
San Bernardino County Firefighters pronounced four people dead at the scene. They asked for an airship to transport a female with critical injuries. A Mercy Air helicopter landed in the roadway and airlifted the injured person to an out of area hospital.
 
Firefighters and deputies searched the area surrounding the collision. A deputy confirmed they looked for other people that may have been ejected.
 
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team handles the investigation.
 
As of 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Hesperia Road between Lemon Street and Willow Street is still closed for the investigation. Officials notified motorists to find alternative routes.
