Deadly Reno Motorcycle Accident at Montello Street and Haddock Drive

 
RENO, NV (June 1, 2020) — A 49-year-old man lost his life in a motorcycle accident at Montello Street and Haddock Drive Friday at 5:14 p.m.
 
Reports from the Reno Police Department indicated that the man was riding his motorcycle south on Montello Street. At the same time, an SUV was eastbound on Haddock Drive and the two vehicles collided.
 
The force of the impact ejected the rider from his bike, causing him serious injuries. Emergency crews took him to Renown Regional Medical Center. But unfortunately, they were not able to revive him at the hospital.
 
The name of the motorcycle rider was not released pending notification of his family.
 
The police said there were indications that speed was a factor in the accident. They are now looking for possible witnesses who can help them in their investigation. Anyone with helpful information about the case may call the RPD Traffic Office at 775-334-2141.
