2 Injured in Bakersfield Crash Involving Pickup Truck and Car

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 1, 2020) — Two people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Owens Street at Niles Street in Bakersfield.
 
The incident happened on Thursday, May 28 that involved a pickup truck and a Nissan Sentra.
 
Based on an initial investigation, the truck was southbound on Owens Street, then ran a stop sign as it approached Niles Street. It subsequently struck the Nissan that was traveling west on Niles Street.
 
The driver and the passenger in the Nissan were both injured. The female driver was in critical condition, while the male passenger was in stable condition. Meantime, there was no information about the condition of the truck driver.
