CHP Seeks Help to Identify Driver Involved in Deadly Crash on 80 Freeway at Carquinez Bridge
CROCKETT, CA (May 17, 2020) – Investigators seek help from the public to identify a driver killed in a traffic accident Sunday two weeks ago in Crockett.
The fatal crash happened around 6:15 p.m. on May 17 in the eastbound lanes of 80 Freeway at the Carquinez Bridge.
CHP officials said a green 1999 Honda Civic was traveling east on the freeway when it crashed for unknown reasons.
The impact killed the driver of the car.
Coroner’s official only described the deceased as a black male, about 20 to 30 years old. He is around 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds and wearing a size 13 shoe.
Authorities asked anyone with any information on the driver’s identity to call the CHP at (707) 917-4357.
