NEWPORT BEACH, CA (May 28, 2020) — Three people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach Tuesday morning.
The Newport Beach police said the incident involved four vehicles. Reports about it came in at about 10:30 a.m. in front of the Balboa Bay Resort at 1221 West Coast Highway.
A Range Rover and a Ferrari were going high speeds westbound on Pacific Coast Highway when they hit two other cars on the road.
Emergency crews took three people from the other vehicles to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Meantime, the driver of the Range Rover remained at the scene, but the Ferrari driver sped away after the crash. The police located and arrested the female driver at her home. They subsequently booked her on suspicion of evading peace officers and hit-and-run with property damage.
