One Hospitalized after Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash on Eucalyptus Drive
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 15, 2020) — A person in a wheelchair suffered major injuries in a pedestrian accident on Eucalyptus Drive on Tuesday, February 11.
According to California Highway Patrol, officers received reports around 7:05 p.m. about a crash in the 6000 block of Eucalyptus Drive.
CHP said that the person in the wheelchair was in a dark area and outside of a crosswalk. Then a vehicle hit the pedestrian.
Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment, but the condition is unknown.
Officials said drugs or alcohol do not appear as factors in the incident.
