2 Injured, Kenneth Johnson Arrested in Three-Car Crash on Union Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 11, 2020) – Authorities identified Kenneth Johnson as the driver arrested following a DUI crash on Union Avenue, Tuesday evening.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the incident happened at about 7:00 PM. A pickup truck, driven by Johnson, was heading down the street when it crashed into a white Chevrolet Camaro. The impact of the crash caused the Camaro to slam into a third car.
Emergency responders rushed the Camaro driver to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the third driver did not sustain injuries in the crash.
Medics also transported Johnson to a local hospital before he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
