David Dunne Fatally Injured after Scooter Crash on Creek Road near Dominga Avenue
FAIRFAX, CA (February 15, 2020) — An electric scooter rider identified as 74-year-old David Dunnei died in a crash with a car on Friday, February 7.
Fairfax police stated at around 8:30 a.m., Dunne rode his scooter on Creek Road near Dominga Avenue. Then it collided with a vehicle.
While Dunne was conscious after the crash, he looked like to be in a great deal of pain due to an arm injury, said Fairfax police Chief Christopher Morin.
First responders transported Dunne to MarinHealth Medical Center in Greenbraedied where he died eight hours later.
The incident remains under investigation. Police have not yet released the identity of the driver of the vehicle.
We have not yet determined who is at fault, Marin stated. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. Investigators are trying to figure out if the cause of death was the collision or a medical condition.
