NATIONAL CITY, CA (February 10, 2020) – A 49-year-old woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on 21st Street, Monday afternoon.
According to the National City Police Department, the incident happened at about 12:20 PM. A 2019 Toyota pickup attempted to turn from 21st Street onto Highland Avenue. There, it hit a woman crossing in a marked crosswalk.
Emergency responders rushed the pedestrian to a trauma center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the 29-year-old Toyota driver remained and cooperated with investigators.
