Teen Airlifted and 2 Adults Hospitalized after Rollover Crash on 15 Freeway
NORTHEAST LAS VEGAS, NV (February 6, 2020) – Three people suffered injuries in a rollover crash on 15 Freeway, late Thursday morning.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 11:25 AM. Due to unknown circumstances, a Ford Explorer rolled over on the northbound side of Interstate 15. The impact of the crash ejected a 13-year-old passenger from the SUV.
A medical helicopter transported the 13-year-old victim to University Medical Center with critical injuries. Meanwhile, a ground ambulance transported two adult passengers to UMC with non-life-threatening injuries.
NHP troopers continue to investigate the cause of the crash. Officials will release additional information once it becomes available.
