Two Fatally Injured after Solo-Vehicle Crash on Highway 41 and Morava Road
COARSEGOLD, CA (February 11, 2020) — Two people died after a solo vehicle crash on Highway 41 in Coarsegold on Sunday, February 9.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 1:50 a.m. in the area of Highway 41 and Morava Road.
A caller told dispatch they noticed a vehicle overcorrect and then crash into some trees, the CHP stated. The vehicle had flipped onto its side and started to smoke.
California Highway Patrol said officers declared the two victims dead at the scene.
Authorities said one of the victims was a 48-year-old woman and the second victim was a 28-year-old man.
