Fatal Head-On Crash at Floral Drive and Collegian Avenue

 
MONTEREY PARK, CA (February 9, 2020) – One person died and another suffered injuries in a head-on crash on Floral Drive, Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the Monterey Park Fire Department, the incident happened at about 3:00 PM. Due to unknown reasons, two vehicles collided near Collegian Avenue.
 
Emergency responders pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Meanwhile, firefighters had to cut free a second patient from the wreckage. Then, the victim was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
