Motorcyclist Dead, Tony Moss Arrested in Multi-Car DUI Crash

 
BAY POINT, CA (February 10, 2020) — Officials arrested Tony Moss, 59, of Antioch, on suspicion of DUI after a fatal crash on Sunday, February 9.
 
Emergency personnel responded shortly after 2:00 a.m. to the accident on Highway 4 east of Bailey Road. The collision involved a 2002 Volkswagen sedan, a 2015 Toyota sedan, and a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the initial investigation showed that the Toyota and Volkswagen crashed at Bailey Road. After that, a Harley Davidson became involved as well.
 
The impact ejected the 29-year-old rider from the motorcycle. After that, officials declared him dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the Toyota, a 20-year-old Oakley man sustained minor injuries.
 
Paramedics transported the driver of the Volkswagen, Moss, to John Muir hospital in Walnut Creek for examination and treatment. After that, officers arrested him for felony DUI. As a result, he was booked into the Martinez detention facility Sunday morning.
