Jack Schwass and Thomas Brown Dead after Car Accident on Armstrong Avenue

 
CLOVIS, CA (February 10, 2020) – Two Clovis Unified High School students, Jack Schwass, 17, and Thomas Brown, 16, died in a crash on Friday, February 7.
 
According to the police, the teens drove down Armstrong Avenue near Bullard Avenue when the one driving lost control of the vehicle.
 
The car rolled over and crashed into a tree. People in the area tried to extricate them.
 
Clovis Police Sgt. Jim Koch said that there is difficulty in removing the two gentlemen from the vehicle. The car had a massive amount of damage, almost torn in half, he added.
 
At this time, Clovis Police are still trying to determine what might have led to the incident.
 
Authorities have not released who was the driver of the vehicle.
 
Officials are still investigating if speed or any other elements played a role in the collision.
