Brenda Richardson Killed Corona Hit-and-Run Crash

 
CORONA, CA (February 10, 2020) — A 48-year-old Eastvale woman died in a hit-and-run collision in Corona on Wednesday night at about 7:40 p.m.
 
The authorities have identified the victim as Brenda Richardson.
 
An investigation showed that Richardson was riding a motorcycle westbound on River Road, while another vehicle was in the eastbound lanes.
 
For inexplicable reasons, the other vehicle veered into the westbound lanes and into Richardson’s path, then the two vehicles collided near Kalus Avenue.
 
According to the Corona Police Department, the force of the crash ejected Richardson from the motorcycle. As a result, she suffered severe injuries and remained in critical condition Thursday morning. However, she died of her injuries later in the day.
 
The other vehicle fled the scene. The police said it was probably a white or cream sedan with significant damage to its passenger side. However, the car was last seen traveling east on Penrose Avenue according to witnesses.
