Robert Clough and Robert Parriott Killed in Sonora Plane Accident

 
SONORA, CA (February 7, 2020) – Two Sonora men identified as Robert Clough, 73, and Robert Parriott, 71, died in a plane crash on Wednesday, February 5.
 
Clough was flying the plane when it crashed shortly after 6 p.m. in the 21000 block of Springfield Road. The crash happened near the Columbia Airport in a field behind a home, according to the sheriff’s office.
 
Federal Aviation Administration said the plane was a single-engine Cessna 140A. It crashed in circumstances that are still not determined and then the plane flipped over.
 
The National Transportation Safety Board together with the FAA is investigating the reason behind the crash.
