Ritzville Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 261 Turns Deadly
RITZVILLE, WA (February 06, 2020) — At least one person died in a Highway 261 Crash near Ritzville on Tuesday afternoon.
The Washington State Troopers said they learned about the incident at about 3:02 p.m. A car and a big rig collided south of 90 Freeway near the Love’s Travel Stop.
The officers confirmed that the crash resulted in a fatality but have yet to confirm the identity of the victim.
Meantime, Highway 261 was shut down at 90 Freeway and Highway 26 during the cleanup and emergency response. The crash remains under investigation.
