MOORPARK, CA (February 3, 2020) – A crash involving a big rig and a sedan on Highway 23 caused minor injuries and road closures, Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 3:22 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a Ford Fusion sedan and a tractor-trailer collided head-on near the rock quarry.
Emergency responders reported minor injuries sustained in the collision. However, the exact number of people injured remains undisclosed.
The collision blocked the roadway, which was fully reopened at about 4:40 PM.
