LODI, CA (February 2, 2020) – A man died after a pedestrian accident on West Lodi Avenue, Sunday evening.
 
According to the Lodi Police Department, the incident happened at about 6:12 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck the pedestrian in the 800 block of West Lodi Avenue.
 
Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with investigators.
 
Lodi police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Investigators will release additional information once it becomes available.
