Man Hurt after San Diego Multi-Vehicle Crash on 805 Freeway and South 43rd Street

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 4, 2020) – A distracted driver in a multi-vehicle crash on 805 Freeway left a man injured on Sunday, February 2.
 
According to a local news source, the three-car accident occurred around 2:20 p.m. when a driver took her eyes off the road. When she looked up, she was about to run into vehicles stopped at the traffic light on South 43rd Street at the transition to 805 Freeway.
 
The motorist, who drove a Toyota Camry, swerved to prevent the accident. Then collided into a pickup truck, which struck a third vehicle.
 
The man driving the truck sustained major injuries and medics rushed him taken to UCSD hospital. The woman driving the Camry refused transport to a hospital. The three other people involved in the accident were not harmed.
