Ambulance Damaged after Two-Vehicle Collision on 5th Avenue near Palm Street
BANKERS HILL, CA (February 2, 2020) – An ambulance was involved in a two-vehicle collision on 5th Avenue, Sunday morning.
As per reports, the incident happened near Palm Street, at about 10:20 AM. A four-door Ford changed lanes and crashed into a northbound ambulance headed toward Mercy Hospital with a patient.
Authorities did not report any injuries sustained in the collision. Another ambulance was called to the scene to finish transporting the patient to the hospital.
Officers continue to investigate the cause of the crash. Investigators encourage witnesses to reach out and cooperate as soon as possible. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
