Person Critical After Crash near Live Oak Street and Mariposa Road [Hesperia, CA]

Injuries Sustained in Hesperia Two-Vehicle Crash near Live Oak Street and Mariposa Road

 
HESPERIA, CA (February 3, 2020) — A person suffered critical injuries following a two-vehicle crash near Live Oak Street and Mariposa Road Thursday night.
 
The authorities said the incident occurred at about 5:45 p.m. on January 30. Involved were a Prius and a pickup truck with an attached trailer hauling a vehicle.
 
Initial reports indicated that the pickup truck was northbound on Mariposa Road and the Prius was westbound on Live Oak Street when they collided. The Prius sustained significant front-end damage, while the pickup truck had minor damage.
 
A ground ambulance took the driver of the Prius to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with critical injuries. On the other hand, the driver of the pickup truck did not report any serious injuries.
 
The authorities closed Mariposa Road during the investigation and cleanup.
