Man Fatally Injured after Reno Motorcycle Crash near Tamarack Junction

 
RENO, NV (February 3, 2020) – A man died following a motorcycle crash near Tamarack Junction and South Virginia Street on Thursday, January 30.
 
The Nevada Highway Patrol said that the male motorcyclist died after colliding with an SUV.
 
Officials said that according to witnesses, the motorcycle drove at a high rate of speed before the incident. NHP said the motorcycle traveled southbound on Virginia. At the same time, the SUV was turning left to go northbound when the collision occurred.
 
Responders transported the female driver of the SUV to the hospital with minor injuries.
 
Officials closed the road after the incident during the investigation. The roads have been reopened since.
