Pedestrian Hit-and-Run at 7th Street and Webster Street in Oakland
OAKLAND, CA (January 31, 2020) — A hit-and-run at 7th Street and Webster Street early Wednesday morning left a man in critical condition.
The police have not released the name of the pedestrian, saying he is a man in his 50s.
The incident occurred at about 5:55 a.m. The vehicle involved left the scene after hitting the pedestrian. The officers found the man down in the roadway.
The Oakland fire and ambulance crews also provided medical treatment. They took the victim to a local hospital in critical condition, police said.
Meantime, no description of the suspect nor the vehicle was immediately available.
