HESPERIA, CA (February 3, 2020) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Sequoia Street near Balsam Avenue in Hesperia Thursday night.
 
The authorities said a 1993 Toyota 4Runner hit the pedestrian at approximately 5:48 p.m. on January 30.
 
The San Bernardino County firefighters pronounced the victim dead at the scene. However, the man driving the SUV stayed at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
 
The closure of Sequoia Street took effect between Arroyo and Balsam Avenues. As a result, the Hesperia Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team processed the scene.
