Adam Nickelson Fatally Struck by Car in Huntington Beach

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (January 31, 2020) — 30-year-old bicyclist Adam Nickelson of Minnesota who was involved in an accident on Beach Boulevard on January 19 has died.
 
The authorities said Nickelson was riding a bicycle on January 19 on Beach Boulevard when a 2016 Honda Civic struck him at about 11:55 p.m. When the Huntington Beach police arrived at the scene, they found the victim in the roadway with extensive injuries. As a result, paramedics transported Nickelson to the hospital.
 
According to the Orange County Coroner’s Office, Nickelson of St. Paul died from his injuries on January 23 at UCI Medical Center.
 
However, the 64-year-old Huntington Beach man driving the Honda remained at the scene. In addition, he cooperated with the police.
