33-Year-Old David Allen Lopez Arrested after DUI Crash on South Twin Oaks Valley Road
SAN MARCOS, CA (January 30, 2020) – Authorities identified 33-year-old David Allen Lopez as the man arrested following a DUI crash on South Twin Oaks Valley Road, early Thursday morning.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened at about 2:00 AM. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle crashed into 11 parked vehicles in the Prominence Apartments complex near Craven Street.
Then, the driver, later identified as Lopez, abandoned his vehicle and walked away from the crash site. A short time later, deputies found Lopez in a nearby parking lot where they arrested him.
Officials booked Lopez into the Vista Detention Facility on suspicion of misdemeanor hit-and-run, misdemeanor driving under the influence, and driving on a suspended license. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
