Deadly Pedestrian Crash in Henderson at Boulder Highway and Equestrian Drive
HENDERSON, NV (January 24, 2020) — A 71-year-old woman died in a fatal pedestrian accident on Boulder Highway and Equestrian Drive in Henderson Sunday night, January 12.
According to the Henderson Police, a white Subaru Outback SUV struck the victim past 3:00 p.m.
The vehicle was northbound on Boulder Highway at the time of the crash. The driver reportedly didn’t see the victim who was crossing the northbound lanes in a marked crosswalk against the signal.
Emergency personnel took the pedestrian to Sunrise Hospital. She later died at the hospital.
The driver of the Outback remained at the scene. The officers said there were no signs of impairment. Whether the driver will face charges was not immediately clear.
