MOUNT VERNON, WA (January 24, 2020) – A toddler was airlifted after a traffic collision on East Fir Street at North 18th Street on Thursday, January 16.
The crash involved a small white vehicle and a white truck. There were reports of serious injuries following the collision. Officials asked Airlift Northwest to respond to Skagit Valley Hospital to transport a critically injured 3-year-old child.
Authorities closed the roads in the area of the accident. They advised the public to avoid the area until they have finished their on-scene investigation.
