Serious Injuries Sustained in Las Vegas Crash at Lake Mead Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 23, 2020) — A two-vehicle crash at Lake Mead Boulevard and Los Feliz Street injured a woman Sunday morning.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a pickup truck and a sedan collided in the area at about 12:30 a.m.
An investigation showed that the pickup truck hit the sedan when the car failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign on Los Feliz Street.
Emergency crews transported the 34-year-old woman driving the sedan to University Medical Center. However, authorities suspect she was impaired at the time of the collision.
Meantime, the driver of the pickup truck fled the scene. The police are still searching for the driver as of Sunday afternoon. They urge anyone with information to call the Collision Section at 702-828-3786.
