38-Year-Old Jennifer Looper Arrested in DUI Crash on Highway 267

 
TRUCKEE, CA (January 21, 2020) – Authorities identified 38-year-old Jennifer Looper of Carnelian Bay as the driver arrested after a DUI crash on Highway 267, early Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 2:00 AM. Caltrans had been conducting sweeping operations along the highway to clear roadway debris. Then, Looper’s car hit the Caltrans truck, causing both vehicles to catch fire.
 
Officers arrested Looper on suspicion of driving under the influence. Authorities did not report major injuries sustained in the crash.
 
CHP officers continue to investigate the crash. Investigators will release additional information once it becomes available.
