Alleged Impaired Pedestrian Dies in Tolleson Collision near 99th Avenue
TOLLESON, AZ (January 22, 2020) — A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries in an accident on 99th Avenue and Van Buren Street Saturday night.
According to the police, a vehicle struck the pedestrian while they were crossing the street outside of a designated crossing area. An investigation showed that the victim was highly impaired by alcohol at the time.
Meantime, the police said the driver was not impaired and remained at the scene. However, no other information on the case is immediately available.
